New Student Orientation - 2:00 to 4:00 p.m

This is for first time students that are beginning the program in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. Dress is CASUAL attire with comfortable shoes. Tops must cover chest, shoulders, and midsections. Bottoms may be pants, shorts, or skirts that come to at least the knee cap.
Informational Meeting
This is an informative session held in The McAuley Center at Mount St. Mary Academy for the parents and guardians of students that are new to LRJC in the 2025 Season. Mrs. McClure will give a brief history of Little Rock Junior Cotillion, an overview of the season and expectations, review details of the invitation, and answer questions.
Opening Night

Semi-formal - Gentlemen wear coats and ties with polished leather dress shoes. Ladies wear dressy knee length dresses with gloves and flat shoes or wedges - no heels allowed on the basketball courts.

Casual night! Dress as a favorite fictitious hero or villain. Keep it fun and creative. Tops must cover chest, shoulders, and midsections. Bottoms may be pants, shorts, or skirts that come to at least the knee cap.
Let's Have a Beach Party

Have some fun with grass skirts, bright colors, beach balls, sunscreen on noses, sunglasses. A beach themed playlist and activities will add to the evening. Tops must cover chest, shoulders, and midsections. Bottoms may be pants, shorts, or skirts that come to at least the knee cap.
Review Night

Attire is formal - floor length dresses with gloves and dress shoes for girls and for boys, tuxedos or dark suits with polished leather shoes and a boutonniere.
Out of town guests only. Students must notify Mrs. McClure in advance. Guests should be properly attired and will sit and watch the dance.
5th Grade: 5:00 to 6:15 p.m
6th Grade: 6:45 to 8:00 p.m
7/8th Grade: 8:30 to 9:45 p.m
All students are expected to behave in a courteous manner, dress appropriately, and follow the rules of Cotillion. Disruptive students or students inappropriately dressed will be given a verbal warning and asked to sit.
If misbehavior continues, parents will be called during the dance to pick up the disruptive student. If misbehavior still continues, the student will be dropped from membership. Tuition will not be refunded.
Students should arrive 10-15 minutes before their dance starts. Parents are responsible for coordinating carpools and for the behavior of their carpool members before/after Cotillion. Please be on time to pick up your carpool at the end of the dance.
All parents/guardians are invited to chaperone the Holly Ball. Attire for adults is the same as the students. Gloves and flowers not required for adults. Chaperones not dressed appropriately will be asked to wait outside.
If a student misses a dance, the student should attend a
review lesson 15 minutes prior to the start of the next dance attended. Other
carpool members may also come early. No need to call in advance. Please have the student tell us when they arrive that they are early for a make-up lesson. No early review before the Holly Ball.
